Biddy Ball

Grades K-4th | Starts in October

Our mission through Alpha Omega is to provide the best tools for developing our students in the sport of basketball while helping children gain knowledge, skills and competencies that are an integral and important part of a global multicultural society. Biddy Ball Program introduces students from Kindergarten through Fourth Grade to the sport of Basketball.

To assist in its mission, the size of the balls, the height of the goals and the distance of the free throw lines are modified to fit young athletes. These simple modifications permit the children to learn the fundamentals of the game and develop their ball handling skills with regard to their age and physical abilities while indirectly improving a wide range of cognitive and social skills.

Boy Scouts

Grades K-4th | Starts in September

Boys will begin with learning the Scout Oath , Law and Mission.  Participants will be introduced to various fun, hands-on learning skills that will prepare them for life now and in the future.

Elementary Math Team

Grades 3rd-4th | Starts in October

Math Team is an organization for students who excel in mathematics skills. We work on challenging projects and problems in a collaborative group. 4th grade will compete in the Math League Contest.

Girls on the Run

Grade 3rd-5th | Starts in March

Running is used to inspire and motivate girls, encourage lifelong health and fitness, and build confidence through accomplishment. Important social, psychological, and physical skills and abilities are developed and reinforced throughout the program. At each season’s conclusion, the girls and their running buddies complete a 5K running event which gives them a tangible sense of achievement as well as a framework for setting and achieving life goals. The result—making the seemingly impossible, possible, and teaching girls that they can.

Girl Scouts

Grade 3rd | Starts in October

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Girl Scouts helps girls develop their full individual potential; relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect; develop values to guide their actions and provide the foundation for sound decision making; and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership skills, and cooperation with others.

Tiny Tots Tennis

Grades K-2nd | Starts in September

The Alpha Omega Tiny Tots Tennis Program introduces students from Kindergarten through Second grade to the sport of tennis, which uses tennis as a platform to teach responsibility ,respect,teamwork and other character building elements. The program will also offer academic tutoring and hand-eye coordination. These fine motor skills develop in a series of stages from birth to about 7 years of age. When combined with a tennis component, it provides important developmental assets and reflects the ideals and principles of the Alpha Omega Project by giving children access to a safe, healthy educational environment.

Intermediate Reading Club

Grade 3rd | Starts in October

Students will select reading material, read it, share, and apply their reading to a variety of questions.

Language Club

Grades 4th & 5th | Starts in October

Language Club would be for students who like learning about different cultures and their languages. Students will discover and experience the Francophone, Hispanic, Brazilian-Portuguese, and other international cultures. They would correspond with students from other countries, sample – experience international dress, food, holidays celebrated in different countries, meet people who have lived in other countries, experience varieties of music, and more.
