Family Handbook

Brookside Charter Middle School believes that all students should feel connected to their school. Each year our school has a goal to have 100% of our students participate in a club, activity, student internship, or sport.

In April of 2020, Brookside Charter School became the 6th Charter School in the WORLD to be recognized as a Lighthouse Leader in Me School.

As a Leader in Me School we teach the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey to all of our students. Leadership, Culture and Academics are the foundation of everything we do at Brookside Charter School. We value the voices of our students and empower them to lead their own learning.

After 10 years of being a Leader in Me School, we earned our Lighthouse recognition, virtually during a global pandemic. Lighthouse Leader in Me Schools are those who deeply implement the Leader in Me in all levels of their organization; students, staff, family and community.
