At Brookside Charter, we use the analogy of a three-legged stool. Students are one leg, Brookside’s staff is another, the final leg is the family. Without all three legs working together the stool collapses.
We know students have far greater success in academics and in life when adults are actively involved in their education. That’s why Brookside requires parent drop-off and pick-up. We want our parents in the building getting to know their student’s teachers and administration.
We’ve seen parent involvement bring great results. Several of our graduates have attended top high schools in the area such as Rockhurst, Lincoln Prep, Bishop Miege, Cristo Rey and more.
