Construction began on March 14th, 2026, with the new Primary School scheduled to open its doors in August 2027 for the 2027-2028 school year. The facility will feature modern, flexible learning spaces tailored to the developmental needs of early learners, fostering both academic growth and social-emotional development. The new construction will be roughly 57,000 square feet and will include a gymnasium, 23 classrooms (accommodating more than 600 PK-2nd grade students), administration offices, and shared learning spaces within grade-level classroom pods. A code required storm shelter will be included along with outdoor play areas and parking. The new school consists of 1 single story building and the rough grading for a future athletic field and track.
