This semester course provides a knowledge of functional Spanish, serving as an introduction to the Language students may wish to pursue in high school. Students will explore the Spanish language, broaden cross-cultural awareness, foster a healthy attitude about people of the Hispanic culture, and develop good language learning skills which must be mastered in order to continue foreign language study later.
The study of Spanish includes geography, culture, grammar, and history, so students can expect to integrate content already mastered from other disciplines. The primary instructional method in P Q A which fosters immersion in the target language.
